Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. He has inspired millions across the globe with his unique interpretation of God's Word.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God on her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by the entire family. His brother Reverend Ken, is the esteemed pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a scholarship was granted to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he earned a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Today, LoveWorld television stations are accessible on satellite and cable networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. It also operates two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music are an important part of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for gospel music. Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these performers have had successful solo career.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a zealous philanthropist who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) an independent, non-profit foundation with the goal of helping the most disadvantaged communities and people in the most deprived regions and countries across the globe.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer vital services and hope for the poor, in need and neglected. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising the standard of living in the areas that are the least developed.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations works to enhance the lives of individuals and health, well-being and overall well-being.
